Master of Alchemy I had to put aside my prejudices here as at first I thought the photos were on the camp/melodramatic side, but upon listening I realised that this LP is a magnificent work of art. It begins and ends with the rumble of thunder and the toll of a bell (a nod to Black Sabbath), and in between are the catchiest poetic Doom songs one could ever wish for. The riffs! The guitar solos! The organs! And the lyrics!... try listening to the beautiful acoustic Gone without breaking down! A great album! Favorite track: Gone.
